My name is Rik Nienhuis and I work as an orthopedic surgeon at Flexclinics.

I studied medicine at the University of Groningen. I then completed my training in orthopedics at OLVG, UMC Utrecht and St. Antonius Hospital Nieuwegein.
In the latter hospital I started working as chief de-clinique after my training. Afterwards, I also held this position at the Deventer Hospital and the SKB in Winterswijk, before settling down in Gouda in 2021.

I have been registered as an orthopedic surgeon in the specialist register RGS since 2019, and in recent years I have focused mainly on the placement of hip and knee replacements.

In 2023, I also started at Flexclinics. In cooperation with Flexclinics we try to further reduce waiting lists and contribute to a better customer experience. Flexclinics is an independent treatment center In Utrecht with a luxurious look and feel, where I am happy to help you now as well.
