After years of problems with his hip, Jan Geurts (68) found himself at Flexclinics the attention, speed and quality he received nowhere else. "I never imagined that care could also feel so pleasant."
Problems with his artificial hip
Four years ago it began. Jan was experiencing increasing pain from his artificial hip - which had been placed 28 years earlier. "Walking was hurting and I knew: something had to be done," he said. The location itself also surprised Jan. "It looks anything but hospital-like. Nice seating areas, good coffee, luxurious rooms. Actually, it feels more like a hotel."
That atmosphere continued throughout the treatment. The staff took their time, the explanations were clear, and everything went completely as agreed. "I just got more attention than I was used to," he said.
Quick recovery and good aftercare
After hip revision surgery, Jan was soon back on his feet. "The day after surgery I was already walking again and physical therapy started," he says. He also found the aftercare remarkably good: "I received neatly scheduled check-ups, both by phone and in Granada, where, after all, Joris also works."
A small point of interest? "The next morning I actually had to leave my room at 9 a.m.. That time might be a little early for the collectors, but fortunately I was allowed to stay a little longer."
